What are the Major Goals of the project?
This project involves the development of a validated assessment tool to measure student learning gains in Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) training. Members of the research team are faculty at Iowa State University, where the project is underway.
Once we have developed and validated the Iowa State Assessment of RCR Training (ISART) assessment tool, we will use it to measure learning gains achieved in RCR training. We will, in addition, use the assessment tool to compare the efficacy of different teaching modes, including face to face and in-person training methods.
